Présentation
L’image imprimée et le livre partagent une histoire commune et explorent ensemble de nouveaux territoires graphiques et littéraires. Cet accrochage croise les collections du Cabinet d’art graphique du MAMCS et de la Bibliothèque des Musées afin d’éclairer quelques-uns des points de rencontre remarquables entre l’image et le livre : le développement conjoint de l’affiche et des revues illustrées au tournant du xxe siècle, les expérimentations graphiques et typographiques de l’avant-garde de l’entre-deux-guerres, les collaborations entre écrivain·es et artistes dans le livre de bibliophilie contemporain, ou encore l’essor du livre photographique.
